Graduation Postponed

Unfortunately the graduation ceremony that was planned for Saturday 4th July 2020 at the University of Bolton has now been postponed.

We look forward to rearranging this event in the near future when guidelines indicate that it will be safe to do so.

In the meantime please continue to collect credits in your C.U. passports. Don’t forget to try our online activities at the following link:

Activities for Lockdown

The Covid-19 pandemic has made it hard for us to get out and about, but there are plenty of quality C.U. validated learning activities that can be done at home on top of school work. Stamps/signatures in passports for completed activities can be claimed from your teachers when the lock-down ends, so please keep evidence of your work.

Become a Children’s University Learning Destination

Becoming an officially validated Children’s University Learning Destination is completely free of charge and a quick and easy process. You will just need to fill in a brief online form at the following link:

Once validated the details of your activity/organisation will be posted on our national website for thousands of children to see. A unique passport code will be generated for your organisation that pupils will be able to put in their passport to learning each time they participate in one of your activities.

2020 Graduation date announced!

We are thrilled to reveal that our 2020 Graduation ceremonies will take place on Saturday 4th July at the University of Bolton.

We will be joined by several special guests who are looking forward to celebrating the achievements of the young people who will be receiving awards.

Please remember that you will need at least 30 hours of credit in your Children’s University passport to be eligible to graduate.

We look forward to seeing you on the day.

2019 Graduation Confirmed!

We are delighted to announce that the 2019 Bolton Children’s University graduation ceremonies will take place on Saturday 6th July 2019. We are thrilled to be going back to the University of Bolton for these prestigious events.

Already confirmed to appear is our good friend and patron, the world famous poet Donavan Christopher.

Summer Half Term Activity Challenge

We are delighted to publish a Bolton Children’s University 2018 Summer Half Term Challenge.. Each successfully completed activity on this list will be worth one credit in a C.U. passport. Students should show evidence of their completed work to a member of staff at their school to receive their credits.

More 2018 Graduation Guests Confirmed!

As our 2018 Graduation ceremonies draw nearer we are delighted to reveal the identity of more special guests who will join us on the day;

We are thrilled to let you know that wildlife expert Crocodile Joe will appear at his third graduation alongside several of his reptilian friends.

As in previous years it is a great honour for us to be joined by the Mayor of Bolton who will present awards at the morning ceremony.

We are also delighted to report that Mr Pete Marsh, the former Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Bolton will be our guest speaker.
